Concert Schedule

The Capital City Wind Ensemble is the City employee band of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

It was founded by the legendary Max Metzger in 2001, and consists of City and Ramsey County employees and retirees, plus other Downtown and University of Minnesota workers, and a few friends, too.

The 25-member group plays concerts at the Saint Paul City Hall and Ramsey County Courthouse, at the St. Paul Winter Carnival, and various parks around the city. Contact Mary Livingston if you'd like the Capital City Wind Ensemble to play for your special event.

The group has been led by Mary Livingston and Roger Grupp since the fall of 2006. Mary is a Parks and Recreation Dept. employee, and Roger is a retiree from the Department of Public Works.

Spring and summer concerts are set for April 28th, May 19th and 27th, June 1st, and July 12th.

Members -- The March 11th rehearsal is in the City Passport Senior Center. After that, rehearsals resume March 18th and 25th in City Hall.
